Sound Source Productions is a music production company in Huntington Beach, California that specializes in Digital Pro-Tools Based Recording, Live Concert Sound, Production and Mixing.
The owner, Steve Hunt, has recorded and produced music for over 150 bands and musical artists in Southern California and has earned over 10 Gold and Platinum awards as a Product Development Representative for Warner/Elektra/Atlantic Corp. He has been involved in breaking such acts as Matchbox Twenty, Korn, Disturbed, P.O.D., Sugar Ray, Brandy, Seal, The Black Crowes, Tori Amos, Jewel, Faith No More, Staind, Linkin Park

The recording studio was founded in 1997 and local musicians in Orange County found a place where they could develop their music with trained engineers who speak the language of musicians. Most of the creative staff at Sound Source Productions also compose and play many musical instruments. “Experienced Players with Great Ears” Never compromising quality while yet affordable for most budgets.
We also have a unique selection of music compositions that are readily available for synchronization to Film, Video, Television, Multimedia and the Web for hassle free music Licensing.
Music Loops are a quick way for Video Game Developers and Flash Animators to add depth and moods to the interactive web experience! Samples are created in our studio so licensing tracks is simple. We can also create original background music for just about any type of scene or mood.
The music library spans many different musical genres and is full of fresh, new, original tracks that can be selected and licensed for use. Our staff and music partners are dedicated to creating high quality music to fit the mood or style of almost any scene or event either online or on the screen. Because of the fact that our music projects are written, scored, arranged, recorded and mixed in our own studios, we don’t have the high license fees associated with some music company’s catalogs. Music can be customized by request. For example, if you are a Pro User and you select a song that has a saxophone solo but would like a guitar solo instead. We can remix it for an additional fee.
Live Concert Sound systems come with professional engineers and staff. Quality Sound is our main goal.
